First Class Flights to Thailand

Book business class flights to Thailand for a luxurious trip to the country formerly known as Siam. The Kingdom of Thailand is at once historic, cosmopolitan, and exotic. The influences from earlier times are still very much ingrained in the traditions and rituals, spirituality and art of Thailand’s people. The landscape includes natural settings such as gorgeous beaches, and colorful temples provide a distinct flair to the region. There are many wonderful places to visit in Thailand, in addition to Bangkok. Phuket is a popular destination, and tourists enjoy riding elephants along beaches or surfing on the generous waves. For those who travel to Thailand and seek a serene experience, Ko Lipe and Ko Chang are quiet beaches with coves that provide the feel of being on a deserted island next to vivid azure waters. In Kanchanabury, many visitors enjoy seeing the infamous bridge over the River Kwai. The Khao Sok National Park is an ideal destination for adventure seekers, as well as Khao Yai National Park, where visitors sometimes get a glimpse of wild tigers.

Flights to Thailand via Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK)

Countless visitors who travel first class to Thailand arrive via Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK). Bangkok, a top destination among world travelers, is a city with thriving industry that offers a rowdy nightlife. In stark contrast, it is also a city with many religious temples, including Wat Phra Kaew, considered the most sacred temple in Bangkok. It is home of the Emerald Buddha. Wat Pho is the largest temple in the city and is home of the incredible 150-foot reclining Buddha.

After arriving to Thailand via Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK), it is not uncommon for visitors to go to Rattanakosin Island, which is in historic Phra Nakhon District and where Wat Phra Kaew is located. City Pillar Shrine and Grand Palace are among the historic landmarks there. The Grand Palace was the official residence of the King of Siam from 1782 until the nation became Thailand. Within the Grand Palace are living quarters and a chapel for monks.

The Golden Buddha is a huge tourist attraction in Bangkok, and the story about its discovery is compelling. The land around Wat Traimit was purchased by the East Asiatic Company in the 1950s, but there was one condition. A large plaster statue of Buddha had to be removed. As an attempt to remove the statue was being made, the cable on the crane broke from the weight of it. The statue temporarily stayed where it fell and was exposed to rain overnight. The plaster began washing away, and monks noticed gold was shining through. Turned out, underneath the plaster was a solid gold Buddha weighing 5.5 tons.
